wind power reality -- an introduction to small wind
While solar energy is widely understood at the most basic level by the general public, wind energy at the small, home scale is far more complicated and is generally misunderstood by both the public and the news media. This course is a simple, back to basics introduction to the realities of small wind power compared to solar, for the homeowner or PV installer who has never dealt with wind systems before. It is also well-suited to the general public, and government administrators who are crafting local codes.
- This 8-hour class is a complete introduction to small wind power.
- All versions of this class are accredited by both NABCEP and IREC / ISPQ, and all students who successfully complete it are eligible for Continuing Education credits for both organizations. Please see our Accreditation Page or contact us for more information.
- If you are interested in hosting this class for your local community, renewable energy install company, sustainable living fair, city council meeting, etc. please contact us for more information.
