Policies
We make every effort to hold classes rain or shine, no matter what the circumstances. The most common reason for class cancellation is because of not reaching a minimum enrollment by a set date. This date is listed on the course registration page. If it is not listed there the class has already met minimum enrollment and will be cancelled only in case of Force Majeure (eg, natural disasters such as flooding or fire.)
In the event of cancellation of a class you have signed up for, our policies are as follows:
We will attempt to immediately notify you of the cancellation by email and phone.
You will receive a refund in full on your credit card, or by check if you paid via mail.
Under no circumstances shall Buckville Energy Consulting, the class instructors, or the host be liable for any expenses (including travel) incurred by any person or organization due to the cancellation of a class.
If you are unable to attend any part of the class you signed up for and need to cancel your registration, our policies are as follows:
If the class has a cut-off date shown in the registration information and you cancel after that date, you will receive a refund by credit card or check within 30 days of the LAST day of the class, minus a 15 percent cancellation fee.
If there is no cut-off date shown in the registration information or you cancel on or before the cut-off date, you will receive a full refund by credit card or check within 30 days of the LAST day of the class.
If you attend the first day of class and decide that it is not for you, you will receive a prorated refund for the following days.
If you are forced to leave class any time after the first day, the full amount is still due. However we are always willing to negotiate a prorated refund depending on your circumstances.
